The FY 2014 H-1B Cap has been reached! USCIS announced Friday that they have received a sufficient number of petitions for the 65,000 regular H-1B Visa limit and more than 20,000 petitions for the H-1B Masters cap. They are no longer accepting 2014 H-1B petitions. USCIS will conduct a random “lottery” to determine which petitions will be processed. USCIS has not said when this lottery will take place but is planning to release more information this week. To read the announcement, click here.
