Shareholder Edward L. Birk Launches a New Blog

Marks Gray, P.A. is pleased to announce attorney Edward L. Birk recently launched a new blog, Media and First Amendment Law.  Mr. Birk is a thought leader and frequent speaker on first amendment law. In his first blog installments he discusses; The Difference Between Fake News and a Media Error: What We Can Learn from Las Vegas and Tom Petty  and Lawsuit Threats from Movie Mogul Weinstein: Are They Real?  

Mr. Birk practices in the areas of news media and first amendment law. In addition, he represents clients in municipal liability, E.R.I.S.A. Benefits; Employment; Fair Labor Standards Act; and Products Liability. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Mr. Birk worked as a reporter and editor for The Associated Press in Boston, Miami and Tallahassee from 1983 to 1989. He is a member of the Jacksonville and Florida Bar Associations, the Association of Defense Trial Attorneys, and the American Bar Association Forum on Communications.
