Marks Gray Announces Two New Attorneys Join Firm
Ms. May’s practice focuses primarily in governmental liability, municipal law, civil litigation, and civil rights. She received her Juris Doctor from Barry University School of Law graduating cum laude. While there she served as Editor-in-Chief and Managing Editor of the Environmental & Earth Law Journal. She received her B.S. in Computer Networking Technology at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. Prior to joining Marks Gray, Ms. May was the Assistant City Attorney for the City of St. Augustine, Florida. Ms. May was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2013. She is a member of the Jacksonville Bar Association, the St. Johns County Bar Association, Florida Defense Lawyers Association and the Federal Bar Association for the Middle District of Florida.
Ms. Scott practices primarily in the area of wills, trust, estate planning and wealth planning. Ms. Scott advises businesses and individuals on asset protection, estate and tax planning and business and corporate matters.
Ms. Scott received her B.S. in Political Science from Florida State University and her J.D., cum laude, from Florida Coastal School of Law. During law school, Ms. Scott was a member of the Honors Society, Dean’s List and Dean Scholar. After receiving her J.D., she earned her LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Florida, Levin College of Law, graduating in the top 10% of her class. She was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2016 and is also a member of the Jacksonville Bar Association.
