Employment-Based (EB-1) Green Card for International Customer & Product Support Manager from Venezuela

“Thank you very much for all the hard work and the good spirit placed on our case!!”

We regularly help employers petition for permanent resident status (“green card”) for their employees with extraordinary ability. Here, we are sharing another green card success story for an International Customer and Product Support Manager from Venezuela.

Mr. V and his employer were referred to us by a local business attorney to strategize on the best visa to bring Mr. V and his family to the U.S.  They were living in Venezuela and working for a U.S. employers. The political and economic situation in Venezuela made it very difficult for Mr. V to do his job including travelling globally for his U.S. employer.

After an in-depth case analysis and options, we decided to first proceed with an O-1A, extraordinary ability in business petition, for Mr. V because he has over 30 years of ground breaking innovations and contributions to the field of international aftermarket technical and training solutions. The O-1A petition was successful and Mr. V. and his family were thrilled to move to the U.S.

After he had been in the U.S. for a year, his employer asked us to again strategize and proceed with his employment-based green card so that Mr. V and his family could stay in the U.S. on a permanent basis.

We planned for an EB-1 petition for Mr. V, we highlighted his extraordinary global experience as an International Customer and Product Support Manager. Mr. V travels the world to provide unique and specialized hands-on training to professionals in the trucking industry and judges their work and competence. He also develops and brings innovative solutions to the commercial truck aftermarket. His work supports the growth of our international export market.

We partnered with Mr. V and his employer on the best evidence to show that he meet the eligibility criteria of extraordinary ability for the EB-1 I-140 petition. Through detailed research and preparation, we were able to provide an extensive portfolio outlining his employment in a critical or essential role for organizations with a distinguished reputation, evidence of his original contributions to his field of employment, and evidence of Mr. V’s role as a judge of the work of others.

Our documentation, up-to-date knowledge of USCIS’ requirements, and thorough preparation led to a great result: USCIS approved his I-140 immigrant petition!

Mr. V was overjoyed when he learned about the I-140 approval and wrote to us:

“Thank you very much for the very good news!! I can only feel grateful and humble! My fortune is no other than hard, honest work and to have been surrounded and supported by the best people ever! Millions of people in my home country and around the planet would probably give anything to receive an email like this (referring to our Congrats email on the approval of his I-140 petition)

That is just how privileged we are… thank you very much for all the hard work and the good spirit placed on our case!!”

The next step for his employment-based green card will be filing a petition for adjustment of status. We look forward to continuing our journey with him to becoming a United States Permanent Resident!
