On September 18, 2012, Michael Kendall was inducted as a Barrister member of the E. Robert Williams American Inn of Court. The American Inns of Court are modeled after the English Inns of Court. By encouraging collegiality among law students, lawyers and judges, the American Inns of Court movement promotes professionalism, ethical conduct and competent advocacy. Courtney D. Ray, a file clerk at Marks Gray, P.A. and a rising second year law student at Florida Coastal School of Law, was inducted as a student member of the E. Robert Williams American Inn of Court. Membership in the Inn of Court is by invitation only.
