Family Immigration

Family Based Immigration

One of the most sought after U.S. immigration benefit is obtaining permanent residence status.

One of the ways an immigrant can obtain a green card is through the marriage to a US Citizen.

We focus our family-based immigration practice on green cards for those married to U.S. Citizens.  Because of the unfortunate amount of fraud in this process, marriage-based petitions are highly scrutinized by the USCIS.

The process to obtain a green card based on marriage involves several documents and steps including:

– Preparation and Filing Petition for Alien Relative and

– Preparation and Filing Adjustment of Status Application

The process also includes filing an Affidavit of Support. The petitioning spouse will have to prove to the U.S. Government that he or she will be able to financially support his/her immigrant spouse.

The immigrating spouse has to attend a biometrics appointment and you will both have to attend an interview.

Those couples who successfully petition the USCIS prior to their two-year marriage anniversary will receive a “conditional green card” which requires green card renewal later.

You should consider hiring an attorney to help you through this important process.

Testimonials & Reviews

THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. I am sure we have been one of one of your most difficult clients for the past 2 years, but thank you for sticking with us. You kept us motivated, push us when needed and we made the filings on time. This could not have happened without the dedication of your team. Lots and lots of positive vibes. - South African EB-1 Executive and Green Card for Executive and family

First of all this is a MASSIVE packet....WHOA! However, it is a very well prepared packaged, succinct and I believe an accurate and strong capture of Unmesh! Very proud of him and excited for the results! Nothing for you to redact. I approve the package. -  HR Director Global Design Firm, O-1B petition package

I am pleased to share that my O1 work visa finally got approved! After 3 years of bad luck with the H1 lottery.. this was the best thing to happen! I want to thank Halima at Corgan HR, Giselle Carson, Esq. and the team at Marks Gray, Corgan Marketing, and Corgan leadership for guiding, and supporting me through this process! There were difficult and strenuous few months before this, but I had the best team on my side! - Indian Architectural Designer on O-1B approval

I have worked with Giselle for several years with our immigration needs. She is highly knowledgeable in all U.S. immigration and is very attentive to the needs of our Company. I have reached out with complicated cases and questions and, without hesitation, offer solutions and options. She and her team are true partners and has the best interest for the Company and our employees.

We are just beyond happy and cannot thank you enough. We never would have won this case without you. I was also shocked at the short time frame of the approval. We had resigned ourselves to the fact that we may not know anything for another year. We will give you the highest recommendations.
