Mike Bittner practices in the areas of construction litigation, commercial litigation, real estate litigation and business law. In addition, Mr. Bittner represents small and mid-size businesses and entrepreneurs in a variety of business transactions and general corporate counsel matters. He has extensive experience litigating construction and business disputes including complex construction defect claims, contractual disputes, real property disputes, landlord/tenant disputes, and collections matters.
Mr. Bittner is a native of the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania area and moved to Jacksonville in 1997. He received his Juris Doctorate with honors in 2002 from University of Florida College of Law. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Duquesne University (1995) and his Masters degree from the University of Florida (1997). Mr. Bittner is admitted to practice in all Florida State Courts and the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Middle Districts of Florida.
Mr. Bittner is a member of the Jacksonville and Florida Bar Associations, the Florida Defense Lawyers Association (FDLA), the Jacksonville Association of Defense Counsel (JADC), and the Catholic Lawyers Guild. He also serves as Vice-Chair of the Board of Directors of Lutheran Social Services of Northeast Florida, Inc. Mr. Bittner resides in the Southside area with his wife, Lori, and their two children, Hannah and Jacob. In his free time, he enjoys running, biking, golf and spending time with his family.
