Giselle Carson practices primarily in the areas of U.S. and global immigration and business; civil litigation; and wills and estate planning. She is fluent in both Spanish and French.  Ms. Carson has first-hand knowledge of immigration as she was born in Cuba and immigrated as a teenager to Montreal, Canada, and later to the United States.

Ms. Carson helps clients navigate complex immigration and business issues, including employment of foreign nationals and compliance with employment verification.  She has successfully negotiated complex immigration matters including attainment of H-1B, L-1, E, TN, O, P and K visas and permanent residence ("green card") for multinational executives, advanced-degree professionals, athletes, skilled workers and outstanding foreign nationals.  She has also significant experience with I-9 compliance, E-Verify and family sponsored immigration. 

She has been recognized with various awards including the Jacksonville Business Journal Women of Influence, Super Lawyers - Rising Stars, and Up and Comer.  She is a frequent writer and lecturer on immigration and business issues.  She is an active member of several professional and community organizations including the Florida and Jacksonville Bar Associations; the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA); Leadership Jacksonville; and the First Coast Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.  She is General Counsel for the Jacksonville Regional Chamber of Commerce (2010).  In addition to enjoying her career as a Marks Gray Attorney, Ms. Carson is a triathlete and marathoner.  She is married to Jeff, a physical therapist and cyclist.
