Austin Sherman’s practice focuses on commercial litigation, municipal liability, personal injury defense, medical malpractice defense, and business and corporate law.
Mr. Sherman received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, cum laude, with a Minor in Leadership from the University of Florida in 2014. During his time at the University of Florida, he was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity, served as the University of Florida Student Senate Judiciary Chairman, and was a member of Florida Blue Key. He received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 2017 from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. At UF Law, Mr. Sherman served as Vice-President of Student Services of the John Marshall Bar Association, Vice-President of the Florida Moot Court Team, and graduated as a member of the Order of the Coif, Florida Chapter. Mr. Sherman also received the following book awards: Civil Procedure (Spring 2015), Foreign Enrichment: Business and Legal Environments in Europe (Spring 2016), and Trusts and Estates (Fall 2016).
Mr. Sherman is a member Chester Bedell Inn of Court, Defense Research Institute (DRI), the Florida Bar, the Jacksonville Bar Association, the Jacksonville Federal Bar Association, the Jacksonville Association of Defense Counsel, Leadership Jacksonville Collegiate Experience Class of 2016, and serves as a Grader for the Florida Board of Bar Examiners.
