Austin Sherman’s practice is focused on commercial litigation, government liability, business, and corporate law, and product liability.
Mr. Sherman received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, cum laude, with a Minor in Leadership from the University of Florida in 2014. During his time at the University of Florida, he was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity, served as the University of Florida Student Senate Judiciary Chairman, and was a member of Florida Blue Key. He received his Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 2017 from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. During his time at law school, Mr. Sherman served as Vice-President of Student Services of the John Marshall Bar Association, Vice-President of the Florida Moot Court Team, and is a member of the Order of the Coif, Florida Chapter. In October 2016 he and his partner received the winning trophy for the Hulsey-Gambrell Florida Georgia Moot Court Competition.
Mr. Sherman received the following book awards while in law school including Civil Procedure (Spring 2015); Foreign Enrichment: Business and Legal Environments in Europe (Spring 2016) and Trusts and Estates (Fall 2016).
Additionally, Mr. Sherman is a member Chester Bedell Inn of Court, Defense Research Institute (DRI), Leadership Jacksonville Collegiate Experience Class of 2016, the Florida Bar, the Jacksonville Bar Association, the Jacksonville Federal Bar Association, and the Jacksonville Association of Defense Counsel.
