Marianne Lloyd Aho is a civil litigator who has focused her practice on liability defense and commercial litigation work for over nineteen years and is a Certified Circuit Court Mediator. Her general liability practice includes the following: automobile, medical malpractice, premises liability, products liability, property damage, trucking and transportation law, and UM/UIM.
Ms. Aho is a member of the Jacksonville Bar Association and was on the Board of Governors from 1999 – 2003 as well as a Board Member of the Young Lawyers Section from 1996 – 1999. Ms. Aho is currently serving as a member of a Florida Bar Grievance Committee. She is a member of the Florida Defense Lawyers Association, the Jacksonville Women’s Network, and the Chester Bedell Inn of Court (1998 – 2002, 2006 – present as a Master level member). Ms. Aho was also a member of the Judicial Nominating Commission for the First District Court of Appeal (member 1994 – 1998; Vice-Chair 1997 – 1998), was a Board Member for Jacksonville Area Legal Aid, Inc. (1994 – 2000), and served as Secretary for the Jacksonville Association of Defense Counsel (2004 – 2005). Additionally, Ms. Aho appeared in 2007, 2008 and 2010 editions of Florida Trend magazine among Florida’s Legal Elite. She was also named to the 2008,  2009 and 2010 Super Lawyers list. Only 5% of the lawyers in Florida earn the Super Lawyers honor.

Ms. Aho’s speaking engagements include, “Damages in Wrongful Death Cases,” (Atlanta, Orlando) and “Trucking Law & Motor Vehicle Accidents,” (Atlanta, Orlando, Tampa).
