Obama’s focus on high-priority removal cases not amnesty

  The Obama administration announced its plans to focus on the removal of high-priority cases such as convicted felons, known gang members and those with egregious immigration violations. The Administration has noted that while the focus will be on deporting high-risk individuals, the policy does not grant amnesty to others.  USCIS has simplified their 1-800 automated call system. Now instead of listening to and deciding between 10 main menu options, we will be offered 3 options when calling the National Customer Service Center (NCSC).  This change is aimed at preventing misdirected calls and making customer service tools more friendly to you and me, the costumer! USCIS Transformation

DHS has published the first of many regulations to streamline its processing of  benefit requests. The regualtions eliminate the need for  outdated paper forms and encourage users to file online. You can comment at until October 28, 2011. The new regulation is planned to take effect November 28, 2011.
